Today I want to talk to you about another interesting webpage called mundo primaria. It seems really interesting and I'm sure children will find it extremely engaging! Do you want to know more about it? Let's read this post!
In this platform, we can practice all the subjects of Primary Education, and we have access to several games with which students can play and review concepts related to measurement of the mass, length, weight, time, capacity, etc. depending on their age and previous knowledge. The activities are organised in different levels and they are created for the students, so the different objects with which they'll work in the tasks are ones that they observe daily.
In this picture, you can observe how the tasks are divided in the different cycles of Primary Education:
As you can see, as teachers, we only have to select the cycle in which we are giving class and choose some activities that we like. For the students, it can be useful and enjoyable at the same time, so I firmly believe that it's a good resource for our classes.
If we use it in the class, we can organise the students in several groups, so they can do the activities cooperatively. But we can also do it individually, it depends on how we want to work with them.
On top of that, we can also us this webpage while we explain some concepts, using some examples so as to ensure that children understand the lesson. Finally, it'd be good for children to know the existence of this resource too, because they'd use it at home to practice some contents, knowing if they are doing and learning it properly or not.
